No more excuses
Today is a big day because I finally released my online course “Lawn Care Mastery 101“, just in time for the mow season. It took some time because my original and preferred business name “BC Landscape Academy” wasn’t approved by the provincial government. The use of BC is restricted.
Why this course? Because I see new workers making the same mistakes over and over, season after season. Thus the course sub-title: top 5 mistakes you must avoid. You can easily cover this course in one evening and then head out into the field to practice.
Field might be your own house, a landscape job or your own side-hustle. Whatever it is, you will do a better job after taking the course. For only C$29 you can access to my best training; and you can ask me questions during and anytime after you complete the course.
Why this course is special
I know, there is so much great information online and in landscape companies but some topics get completely missed. To correct that I put together two special chapters for my course.
One chapter deals with mow lines and the other with conflicts. Mow lines refers to line crossing, where people put beautiful laser lines into their lawns and then ruin it by crossing over them. The other mow line sin is always mowing the same way like some AI robot. Because this practice leads to depressions in the lawn, we have to correct it by alternating our starting positions.
Conflicts between lawn care machines and landscape trees are at epidemic levels because landscapers assume they have the right of way. This is wrong! We know that repeated injuries to trees can stress them and, ultimately, kill them. Now, you will never convince me that removing a bit of shaggy grass is worth killing a tree.
Trees provides us with numerous free ecosystem services and we need them desperately now, as we face a global climate emergency. Removing and replacing dead trees is expensive.
The course covers the details.
Enroll
I invite you to enroll in my online course and become a lawn care pro. Or, spread the word to anyone who wants to be better at lawn care; at home or at work. For just C$29, you get access to the course for three months. I’m available for questions during the course and anytime after.
