As I walked the trade floor at last year’s CanWest Hort Show, my eye caught a booth with colored work boots. Cool. You don’t see that much. Most work boots aren’t made to be attractive.
So I approached the couple in the TIGA Workwear booth and a blog post was born. The lady turned out to be the owner and designer. The man was her husband. They were plugging their company with great enthusiasm. I wouldn’t expect anything else. You must believe in your product or service.
What’s so special about work boots for women?
a) Women’s feet are narrower so most men’s work boots on sale don’t really fit well. TIGA safety boots solve that problem. “Even my husband wears them”, the lady added. I find the idea of me wearing women’s safety boots singularly unattractive. I love my Stihl lawngrips.
