Some time ago I used to hang out on Quora.com where people ask and answer questions on every possible topic. And over time I started noticing that some lawn care questions were repeating over and over. Is it Ok to mow in the rain or mow backwards? Why are people so excited about grass scalping and what is it anyway? Do I have to buy expensive fertilizers for my lawn every year or is there another way?
The list
Then it hit me. Why not put most of the burning questions into one eBook and make it available for the public, clients and coworkers. So, first I assembled a list of questions that were submitted by multiple online users. Then I culled them to arrive at the final thirty-three number. I wasn’t too worried about the actual question number because I fully anticipate future editions. Stay tuned!
I answered the questions in a random order and I did point out to the readers other related answers when it made sense.
Designrr magic
Designrr is awesome software which allows you to upload your Word document and create an eBook in minutes. This eBook was my first from a Word document. All of my previous eBooks- all available on Amazon-were generated from published blog posts.
It’s like magic: you enter your blog post URL and Designrr scrubs the pages clean, leaving you with the text. Once everything is uploaded you can edit your eBook and publish it. Since I publish on Amazon I get my eBooks saved as Kindle Direct Publishing files.
Normally I recommend having a nice cover done separately but Kindle Direct Publishing allows you to generate a cover online. It’s one of the steps you have take before publishing on Amazon. Your eBook will go live in the Amazon online store fairly quickly. I think I waited twenty-four hours with this eBook.

Question: What will happen if a lawnmower is pulled?
Answer: Your mow lines won’t be straight because you can’t see where you are going. I only mow backwards in tight spots where you physically can’t turn around with a mower.
